Also of interest, the Eastern Shore is home to an assortment of charming port towns, fishing villages and some charming resorts.
Most visitors coming by air to Maryland will arrive at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, which has good connections with cities around the nation. For those travelling by rail, Amtrak offers daily service to Baltimore at Pennsylvania Station and BWI Airport Rail Station. Baltimore is also on the new high-speed rail line running from Boston to Washington, DC.
